Over the years, we have become known for our continuous investment back into the golf course, our facilities and our people at the St. Marys Golf & Country Club. As a valued community asset, with a long-term vision and focus on the future, we believe that if we continue to invest in this amazing asset, there will be benefits for the whole community. We are excited to announce the next big evolution for the St. Marys Golf & Country Club, with the addition of the following facilities:
In Fall 2016, we are planning to build a Golf Maintenance Facility for Sandy and her team. The new maintenance facility will replace the current setup, where we use both the East end of the clubhouse and (deteriorating) grey barn to the right of Hole #4 tee block. The new maintenance facility will feature the following:
The new maintenance facility will allow for improved efficiency and better access for Head Superintendent Sandy's team. The new 'shed' is something that has been needed for a long time and will provide a huge benefit to our golf operations here at the Club. Our team has recently toured golf maintenance facilities throughout London and area and have developed a plan with our contractor and engineering team to develop a facility that allows Sandy and her team to continue to operate as one of the best 'Grounds Crew' team in Ontario!
More information to come in the coming weeks and months - be sure to stay tuned!
This past weekend we made a major announcement at our Third Annual Bridal Open House regarding the next evolution for weddings and events in St. Marys, Stratford, London and area: 'The Hideaway'. A new wedding and event venue escape inspired by old world details and rustic elegance. The new wedding and event space will feature a wood ceiling with wood beams stretching from East to West, with four large glass garage doors that open to the beautiful golf property, making the room a must see for future brides and grooms.
