Stratford Golf & Country Club Senior Golf Invitational | Fifield Wins

Fifield Wins Stratford Senior Men's Invitational under wet conditions

STRATFORD, ON - Rick Fifield, manager of the St. Marys Golf & Country Club, fired a two-under-par 69 here last Wednesday at the Stratford Golf and Country Club.
A total of 120 golfers took part in the club's annual Senior Men's Invitational golf tournament. The golfers had to battle the rain and wet conditions later in the day.
Finishing three shots behind Fifield were two London golfers, Gerard McAnulty and Vaughn Peckham. They both finished with one-over 72s.
Three Stratford golfers, Bob Taylor, Willy Keller and Bill Preston, all carded 76s.
Eric Henkemans also shot 76, while fellow St. Marys Golf & Country Club member Jim Craigmile posted a 78.
