2016 has arrived and winter has been very kind to us thus far! Let's all hope for an early spring, which of course means an early golf season!
As you will read below, many of the new and exciting strategies implemented last season have been carried over to 2016 - plus, we have added a couple other new offers to continue to make this a spectacular place to be a golf member! And based on feedback from our 2015 Member's Survey, the ownership group of the St. Marys Golf & Country Club has committed to making positive changes to the golf course to continue to improve your golfing experience. At the FREE Member's Dinner & Update on April 1st, we will share these updates and changes for the 2016 golf season, with a focus on the following:
- Sand Trap Improvements (long-term plan),
- Par 3 Tee-block adjustments,
- Golf Cart Improvements,
- New Divot Jug program,
- Facility Improvements, and
- Monthly Golf Calendar
Also new for 2016, when you sign up for your 2016 golf membership before or on the Early Bird Membership Drive on March 5th, 2016, you will receive a FREE SMGCC-logo'd water bottle or beer glass (in addition to the already awesome offers)!

NEW INTERMEDIATE MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
To continue our drive towards providing an affordable golf venue for our future golfing generation, we have either adjusted or created three Intermediate Membership Categories for 2016, with affordable pricing for both golf and carts:
- INTERMEDIATE I (Ages 18 to 24)
- INTERMEDIATE II (Ages 25 to 29)
- INTERMEDIATE III (Ages 30 to 34)
REFER-A-FRIEND IS BACK!
In 2016, when you bring a new Golf Member in to join the Club, you and your friend will each receive a credit to your Club account to use in the ProShop, or Bar or Kitchen! The following are the credits that you and your friend (the new golf member) will receive when you Refer-a-Friend:

JUNIOR GOLFERS 10-AND-UNDER: PLAY FOR FREE!
Back for 2016, any junior golfer aged 10 and under plays FREE with a parent or grandparent who have purchased an adult membership!
Eligible to play: Weekdays (all day) and Weekends (after 11am) with member.
JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE
The Junior Golf League for girls and boys is back this summer at the St. Marys Golf & Country Club with a bunch of new additions and fun items for the kids. This fun golf league will begin July 4th and run one day a week for 8 weeks throughout the summer. Skill level is not a concern and junior golfers ages 7 to 18 are welcome. Each girl or boy will be placed on a team, with the chance to win fun, weekly prizes!
Cost to Join the Junior Golf League:

We are once again looking for members to volunteer for the Junior Golf League, to help drive the kids around out on the course. We hope everyone can benefit with these new incentives, particularly young golfers. They are the future!
FINANCIAL INCENTIVES
Early Bird Offer: join as a member on or before March 5th, 2016 and receive 2 green fees (over a $80 value absolutely FREE!) plus a FREE SMGCC-logo water bottle or beer glass!
Pay by Cash or Cheque: pay your golf membership in full on or before March 5th, 2016 by cash or cheque and receive 3% off membership fees (in form of a gift card)
Easy Golf: pay golf membership in six (6) easy instalments, March to July 2016
Add Spouse: add your spouse at a special rate! (note: spouse must not have been a member in 2015)
Warm-up Range: Save $75 on a range membership paid on or before March 5th, 2016

- Back for 2016, a FREE Dinner for members ($10 non members) - cocktails and games to start, with dinner to follow
- Each game will cost a toonie with all proceeds donated to the Junior Golf League. Please join us for a fun night, while supporting our young golfers.
