RANKED #5:
HOLE 18 — Tee Shot Across River to Narrow Green
It's called Black Hole for a reason—every time your ball lands in the river protecting this narrow green, you never see it again. Who says a golf course shouldn’t end with a par 3? This hole is the perfect finish to a perfect round. From the tee, you’re treated to one of the most picturesque views on the course—water in front, elevated bunkers at the back, a waterfall behind, and Hole #7’s hill in the distance. But don’t let the scenery distract you. This shot demands incredible focus. Chunk it, and you can forget about breaking 80, 90, or 100. Many hopes for par have turned into double or triple bogeys on this punishing hole. Originally the green for Hole #6, even a good shot requires precision to avoid rolling off the back of this narrow green. But it’s not all bad news. There have been many hole-in-ones on this epic hole. Sink an ace, and you can head straight to the clubhouse for a celebratory Gowanbeer, our private label lager!
