On a perfect sunshine-filled Sunday afternoon, the St. Marys Golf & Country Club unveiled their newly renovated Wedding & Event Centre to many excited members of the local community and its surrounding areas. Guests of the Grand Opening took a tour through the show-stopping banquet hall, the outdoor patio space that extends right from the hall, the two new ceremony pergolas over-looking the golf course, and the brand new glamourously decorated private bridal suite. The day was spent mingling with General Manager and Co-Owner Rick Fifield, Wedding & Event Manager Ashton Kelly, Head Chef & Banquet Manager Jason Skipper, and some of the best event professionals and vendors in the area.

Early afternoon, on-lookers gathered around one of the ceremony locations, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, where Fifield took the honours of making the Grand Opening official. After many months of meticulous construction, the Club has undoubtedly expanded its resume from being one of South Western Ontario’s most picturesque and challenging golf courses, to now also being one of the area’s most impressive special event facilities. The Club is able to host all types of events, from weddings, engagement parties, bridal showers, golf tournaments, business meetings, to retirement parties, and much more.
