The tournament format was the Modified Chapman system. The Chapman system is the name of a two-person team competition for golfers that works like this:
- Both golfers hit their own drives,
- Then each plays the other's ball for the second shots (and the best of the second shots is selected), and
- From there, the two partners play alternate shots and putts into the hole
The overall gross score winners were Team Marcolini (Andy and Sonja) of Burlington. They shot an even-par 72 (35-37).
The Division ‘A’ winners were Team Clark (Murray and Kathy). They carded a 75 (36-39).
